“ I LOVED LOVED LOOOOOOVED this place. My friend and I passed by a sign that said "3 must haves in Boston: Lobster Rolls, Oysters & Seafood" and well, we had already tried the lobster rolls so of course oysters and seafood were next on the list. My friend found this place through tiktok I think, and oh my god.. I am so glad she did. They offer walk ins as well as reservations, we came around 5pm so luckily we didnt need a reservation. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, we sat outside in the next cool weather. On their sign it said that $1 oysters were available on Thursdays but the server said they also offered it the day we went (Wednesdays) - so we first started off with 6 oysters,,, just to try. Then we also ordered the Ceviche Mixto, the pictures looked super appetizing. Ceviche Mixto- Probably one of my favorite ceviches ever. The diced raw fish, octopus, and shrimp...oh my. It was super sour but super delicious. Oysters on the half shell- the first 6 was so good that we had to order more 8 more. The first 6 we had were fresh, and clean. The additional 8 had 6 sandy ones and 2 clean ones. We were a little disappointed since they werent cleaned well but overall, the oysters were great for it being only $1 each. If I were to ever come back to Boston, I would definetly come here again. ”
“ I'm actually obsessed with this place. It's so cute in here and their seafood is bomb. The ceviche mixto was incredible and their shrimp tacos were so good- the tortillas tasted so fresh and the shrimp was so tender. Our server was so nice and helpful with recommendations. I need to go back asap! ”
“ Located on Newbury St. downstairs and a MUST try. I was visiting from California with my family looking to try Paella and stumbled upon this restaurant. The place has a unique dark vibe interior which I loved. We went on a rainy day for lunch and was seated right away with friendly service. The food was amazing and they definitely KNOW their Ceviche. What we ordered: Paella : 10/10 ~ This was so so so good and must be given a try. We had clams, shrimp, and mussels in it. It usually comes with calamari but we had to get it removed due to an allergy concern within the family and they were so accommodating. ~ I would prefer to have the bottom of the rice be crispy instead of it being a bit soggy from the sauce but still tasted amazing. Pulpo a la Plancha : 8/10 ~ was good but would prefer the octopus to be more crispy Sea Bass Ceviche : 10/10 ~ FAVORITE!!! I love the sauce mixed with the cut up veggies and sea bass. Everything was balanced so well with the chip and must try. ~ Wish there was a bit more chip though Elote Pancake : 7/10 ~ This was okay not my favorite due to it being more like a cake texture. ”
“ This unassuming spot on Newbury street surprised us - this spot KNOWS ceviche. The ceviche is pricey for sure - but it's probably amongst the best ceviche I've had. The fried calamari ($14) was fried golden crisp and came with delicious sauces. The tuna ceviche ($20) was a delight - it's easy for tuna to be fishy nut you could not taste fishiness at all, just a refreshing zing from the citrus contrasted with delicious, fatty avocado. BF really enjoyed the steak tacos ($23). The staff were all super nice and the food came out quickly :) ”
“ Delicious, unbelievably flavorful Valentine's dinner. Ceviche Mixto, Pulpo a la Plancha, Lengua Tacos, Palmitas Ensalada. All food was amazing. Service was great, paid $5 for the Valentine's Polaroid picture and now have a great memento. Only critical feedback is on the bar - it's a cordials only license, and the cocktails are sadly not meeting my expectations for the price point - but that's a relatively small criticism next to the impressive dining - and they have wines as well. Bartender prepared a special sangria that was really great as well. ”
“ Would have given a 4 but the server was extremely nice and found space for us on a fully booked night. The food was good, however the drinks could have been a little better. ”
“ " Ceviche World and Fancy Latin Cuisine " We came in for some appetizers and drinks. The portions are large . We had the shrimp ceviche and pork tacos . We also had the avocado and chips . This was more than enough for 4x adults . (We had eaten earlier though ). The food tasted fresh . It tasted of high quality ingredients, like the good stuff . The presentation was gourmet style , fancy . (Good bold flavors , tasty). That's why I was surprised the portions were so large . Hey , I am not complaining. Just stating facts . I wanted to try the plantains . I seen a table near us order them , they looked yummy . But, it was already too much food for us . Parking is difficult but manageable. If you find it , it will be metered . They do have a parking garage close though . This place is modérate with drinks it gets expensive. However if you want fancy Hispanic food this is your go to . ”
“ Located on Newbury. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Space is indoors is a bit cramped. Our waiter was very attentive and speedy. Food was good but nothing spectacular. All in all we had a good meal. ”
